This was the first book by Cate Beauman that I have ever read. I had heard of her previously and this series in particular but since I normally only ever read Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy/Fiction I just never picked up this series. I am so glad that I was selected to read this book for free through Tomoson website for an honest review.

I stayed up all night last reading this book lol. I just could NOT put it down. I consider myself somewhat a book snob. I have no problem putting a book down and never finishing it if I don't like it. But that was not the case with this one. I was snapping at everyone to leave me alone and let me read lol. I loved the heroine Reagan. She was such a strong character. And the hero Shane.. swoon worthy. Their chemistry was sizzling. I loved the action and romance mix. It was just enough of both to keep me turning the pages. I hadn't read the previous books in the series but I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything since this story was very well fleshed out. Now that I have read this one I am going back and buying the rest of the books in the series. Cate Beauman is now going on my favorite authors list on Goodreads.
